Julian is a freelance cinematographer, film-maker and content creator based out of Christchurch, New Zealand.
With more than a decade of industry experience under his belt, his portfolio of visual storytelling encompasses commercial work, narrative, documentary and music videos.
As well as owning a large selection of camera equipment (Sony FS7, Sony FX6, URSA Mini Pro, Blackmagic Pocket 6K) he’s experienced shooting ARRI, RED, Sony Venice and 16mm film formats.
Among his achievements are 3 NZCS awards: BRONZE - Corporate (2019), SILVER - Short Film (2024) and SILVER - Documentary (2024).
